The final bout

The final taekwondo bouts of the 13th All African Games took place on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at the Bokum Boxing Arena, Gamashie Hall in Accra, featuring both men’s and women’s divisions. The Niger Taekwondo team proved to be a formidable force throughout the competition.

Zaraou Bilane in the women’s clinched gold medals after outstanding performances. Having fought her way to the finals, Bilane faced Soukaina Sahib of Morocco, one of the strongest and most accomplished teams in the tournament.

Through my lens, I documented her journey, the deep bond they shared with her coach, and the discipline, resilience, and unwavering dedication that defined her preparation. Bilane relentless spirit ultimately led her to secure gold, bringing pride to both her team and nation.
